Welcome to Bella Home Care Service, LLC! We thank you for placing your trust in us. 

While scheduling an appointment, please also register with us as a user by sending us the Patient Registration Form. While this is optional and takes only a few minutes, it will save you time when you visit us.

Please make sure you have the following when you visit us:

• Insurance card
• Picture ID
• Copayment
• Current eyeglass/contact lens prescription (if any)
• List of current medications (if any)

Your first visit

• An initial exam may take 1-2 hours.
• For complete exams and retinal evaluations, your eyes may have to be dilated.
  • As dilation causes sensitivity to light, bringing a pair of sunglasses will be highly beneficial.
  • Dilation will temporarily cause you to be unable to read up close but your distance vision should not be affected, and you will be able to drive home safely.
  • Your eyes will remain dilated for 3-6 hours after the exam.

Your Eye Exam – What to Expect
Your eye exam is likely to include one or more of the following:

• Review of vision problems, general health, existing medications (if any), etc.
• Detection of possible eye disorders, like cataract and retinal problems
• Evaluation of your current medical prescription
• Measuring of the fluid pressure in the eye (usually to detect glaucoma)
• Checking of eye muscle coordination
• Checking of pupil response to light

After Your Eye Exam
After your eye exam, your eye doctor will discuss the results with you. In case of an eye disease, treatments with medication, including eye drops, may be recommended. In some cases, laser surgery or other surgical procedures may be recommended.
